BAHAR DAR, GONDAR, LALIBIELA, AXUM
Day 1 - Leave Addis at 6:00 a.m. and drive north passing by Mt. Entoto through the Sululta plain visiting the monastery of Debre Libanos and the portuguese Bridge. Then proceed to the spectacular scenery of the Blue Nile Gorge where you stop for your picnic lunch and proceed to Bahar Dar.

Day 2 - After an early breakfast, drive to the mighty Blue Nile Falls "Tiss Issat". Upon return, make a sightseeing of Bahar Dar. After lunch, you will have 4 hours boat excursion on Lake Tana, to visit monastery of Ura Kidnae Mihiret.

Day 3 - Breakfast in the hotel, and then fly to Gondar and Drive through the Fogera plain and the Mountains of Addis Zemen and Tara Gedam. Check in at a hotel, have your lunch and in the afternoon be at leisure.

Day 4 - Visit the city of Gondar, with its castles and churches dating back to 1632.

Day 5 - Early breakfast and drive north of Gondar through the chains of the Simien Mountains and the Tekeze river valley to the ancient town of Axum.

Day 6 - Sightseeing tour of Axum including the stelae, tombs, the church of St.Mary of Zion, the ruins of Palaces and museum. Overnight hotel.
Day 7 - Leave axum and drive to Debre Damo, the oldest monastery in Ethiopia (visited only by men) and proceed to Mekele. Overnight hotel.
Day 8 - After breakfast, leave Mekele and drive through Ambalage chains of mountains, and having your picnic lunch at Lake Ashenge, proceed to Lalibela. Overnight hotel
Day 9 - Visit all the Rock - hewn churches dating back to the 12th century.
Overnight Lalibela in a hotel.
Day 10 - Optional excursion to one of the churches outside the town of Lalibela.
Overnight hotel.
Day 11 - Depart Lalibela with a picnic lunch to Dessie.

Day 12 - Leave Deassie after an early breakfast for you return to Addis |
