Day 1 - Drive to Hossana south west of Addis on the way visit Melka Qunture, the Adadi Mariam Rock Hewn church and Tiya.

Day 2 - Drive to Arbaminch. After Lunch make a boat excursion on Lake Chamo.

Day3 - After breakfast visit the Dorze village and in the afternoon drive to Netch Sar National Park.

Day 4 - After an early breakfast, drive to Mago National park, through Konso and Jinka.

Day 5 - Drive across the Mago River into the highlands of the Omo River and visit Mursi villages.

Day 7 - Drive further South of Kangate visit the Bume and drive to Omorate.

Day 8 - Cross the Omo River and drive to Omo National park. Overnight Omo National park camping.
Day 9 - Drive through Omo National park to visit wild life.

Day 10 - Drive back to Omorte, on the way visit the Bume Village. Overnight Omorate camping
Day 11 - Drive to Addo Village to see the Geleb people.
Overnight Turmi camping.
Day 12 - Leave Turmi and drive to Chew Bahir, Dead Lake and continue driving to Erobre.
Overnight camping.
Day 13 - After visiting Erbore, Tsemay and Borena ethnic groupos drive to Arbaminch.
Overnight Arbamich in a hotel.
Day 14 - Morning drive to Awassa
Overnight Awassa in a hotel.
Day 15 - Return to Addis

Gambela used to be an important river port linking Ethiopia to the Sudan. It lies on the banks of the Baro River. From the modern bridge of Gambela, the longest in Ethiopia, one can have a view over the riverside town in a frame of flamboyant orange flowers and mauve jacaranda. The inhabitants of this area are Nilothic people. the Anuak and the Nuer. The Baro River offers fishing and is rich in birdlife. The Gambella region is renowned for its wildlife.
